Samuel Gyamfi was born into a noble family by the name of Gyamfi; hence from the family of The Late Mr. Gyamfi, a business mogul who became famous in Suame-Kumasi around the 90s.
Following their numerous owned luxury hotels in the garden city and beyond, while they come from Sunyani, the Gyamfi family is popularly known in Suame and around Kumasi.
Young Samuel was born on March 28, 1989, that a new Gyamfi was named Sammy Gyamfi because of one reason that I will reveal as I go on, not even being given the traditional family name.
Young Sammy called affectionately in his vicinity where they live after being born in Old Suame while he lives from Kumasi, as it comes as no surprise that the smart boy will one day develop into such an intelligent lawyer, Convenor of the Coalition for Social Justice (CSJ), and the contact officer of the largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC).
At Living Waters International School and Glad Tidings International School, Sammy Genfi has completed her basic education.

Interestingly, Sammy Genfi followed her mother after writing her BECE tests and also became a fried rice vendor.
At Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he was very involved in politics, he earned his university education.
The outspoken activist and lawyer did not grow up politically aware. During his first year at KNUST, he fell in love with politics.
Sammy was often around the members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at KNUST Unity Hall until he encountered bigotry and intolerance by members of the TESCON community. This caused him to become unattractive to the NPP.
He then entered the TEIN Tertiary NDC Party. Due to his outspoken, insightful, and in-depth knowledge of politics, Sammy won the center of many TEIN-NDC KNUST members. He was strongly hailed by everyone. From 2011-2012, Sammy Gyamfi went on to become President of TEIN-NDC KNUST. His name was all over the Ashanti region and this made him named as the spokesman and public relations officer for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) between 2012-2016 by the then Mayor of Kumasi, Mr. Kojo Bonsu.
Over the past ten years, Mr. Gyamfi has been an involved member of the NDC Communications Team and has played various roles for the NDC in both the Ashanti and Brong-Ahafo regions. He was the Communications Director for the Exton Cubic Mining Company of Ibrahim Mahama.
Sammy went to the Ghana School of Law, where he was elected President of the SRC. On 5th October 2018, he was called to the bar.
In November 2018, Sammy Gyamfi contested for the position of National Communication Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), where he won a massive beating against his contender, Fred Agbenyo.
