Job Duties

Provide high quality antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care services.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised maternity care plans.
Deliver safe and evidence based care for low and high risk pregnancies.
Support continuity of carer throughout the maternity journey.
Promote positive birth experiences through compassionate clinical practice.
Provide safeguarding support for women, babies, and their families.
Encourage and support infant feeding through education and guidance.
Maintain accurate and up to date clinical records and documentation.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
Participate in service improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Contribute to maintaining high standards across maternity services.
Participate in twenty four hour rota schedules, including nights and on call duties.
Deliver care within hospitals, clinics, community settings, and patients’ homes.

Job Requirements

Registered Midwife qualification with current professional registration.
