Job Summary
We currently seek qualified individuals for immediate employment in two key roles. Whether you are an experienced Twi teacher passionate about preserving Ghanaian language and culture or a caring individual dedicated to the wellbeing of babies and toddlers, we have a place for you. 1. Twi Teacher (Part time)
As our Twi Teacher, you will play a vital role in preserving and promoting Ghana’s rich linguistic heritage. Your work will help students develop proficiency in Twi while fostering cultural pride and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and practical Twi lessons that inspire students and enhance their language skills.
- Plan and prepare lesson materials aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational objectives.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Twi language and culture across the curriculum.
Qualification Required and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education in a related field from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant teaching experience in Twi or a closely related subject.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver practical and engaging lessons.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for lesson planning and documentation.
2. Creche Attendant (Full time)
As our Creche Attendant, you will care for babies and toddlers in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Your work will support their physical, emotional, and social development during their most formative years.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to babies and toddlers.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times.
- Plan and implement age appropriate activities that promote development.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and needs.
Qualification Required and Experience
- Minimum of SHS completion or equivalent.
- Patience and genuine love for caring for babies and toddlers.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Residency within the environs of Dawhenya and Community 25.
