About the Fellowship
Practitioner fellows bridge academic work and the wider world. They show how behavioural science works across sectors. They join a community of mostly academic fellows. Fellows attend orientation, weekly seminars, and daily lunches. Each fellow presents how social science underlies their work.
What Fellows Receive
Fellows receive an official Stanford fellow designation. They gain library and sports facility privileges. The Center provides workspace, desktop support, and research assistance. Small stipends may support salary or housing for fellows from outside the area. Decisions on financial support come in spring 2027.
Who Can Apply
Applicants should work in applications of behavioural science. They should show curiosity about academic work and a record of excellence in practice. Selection values the ability to join cross-disciplinary conversations. International scholars must be eligible for a J-1 visa. Neither Stanford nor CASBS provides health coverage.

Applicants submit a CV of up to three pages. They also submit a one-page project statement. One reference letter is required. All files must be PDFs, and the application must be completed in one sitting.
