BREAKING! President directs all Schools to close down over Covid-19
President Akuffo Addo has in an address given updates on the spread of Coronavirus.
The President has stated that after chairing a meeting of the Inter-ministerial Committee responses, they have updated the committee’s directives.
Pertinent among them is the closure of all public and private educational institutions until further notice.
This include Universities, Junior and Senior High Schools. This directive is effective tomorrow Monday 16th March 2020.
However, Basic Education Certificates EXAMINATION (BECE) and the West Africa Senior High Certificate Examination (WASSCE) candidates should be allowed to attend school classes to prepare themselves for the impending examination.
