Role Overview

As a Subject Teacher at AWASO Academy International, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that align with the national curriculum. You will foster a positive classroom environment, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver compelling lessons for your assigned subject area.
Develop and use appropriate teaching materials and resources to facilitate learning.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programs and holistic development initiatives.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

A minimum of a Diploma in Basic Education or a directly related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Demonstrable expertise and a strong command of the subject you are applying to teach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative mindset.
A deep commitment to professionalism, continuous improvement, and student success.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Prior teaching experience at the basic school level is a significant advantage. We are looking for enthusiastic educators who are creative, patient, and genuinely passionate about making a difference in students’ lives. The ability to integrate technology into teaching and adapt to diverse learning styles is highly valued.
