The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Auto Diagnostician/Electrician to join our expert team. This role is critical for delivering our high standard of diagnostic and electrical repair services. You will work with a range of modern vehicles, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex issues. Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our technical team, you will handle sophisticated diagnostic and electrical work. Your core duties will include:

First, you will perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics on modern vehicles, focusing on complex electronic, sensor, and computer system issues.
You will expertly troubleshoot vehicle systems, employing methodical techniques to accurately identify the root cause of faults.
A primary responsibility involves diagnosing intricate electrical faults within vehicle wiring harnesses, modules, and components.
Furthermore, you will operate advanced diagnostic machines and scan tools proficiently to retrieve fault codes and live data streams.
You will also interpret diagnostic codes and technical data to implement precise and effective repairs.
Additionally, you will perform repairs and component replacements based on your diagnostic findings, ensuring all work meets stringent quality standards.
Finally, you will maintain detailed records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used for each service job.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical acumen:

Substantial hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, with deep knowledge of modern vehicle electronics, ECUs, and sensor networks.
Strong foundational knowledge of all vehicle systems and expert-level troubleshooting techniques.
Proven ability to diagnose challenging electrical faults and circuit problems.
Proficiency in using a variety of diagnostic machines and software for accurate fault detection.
The ability to critically interpret diagnostic data and codes to guide effective repairs.
A technically inclined mindset with excellent critical-thinking skills.
Basic computer literacy for operating diagnostic software and completing digital work orders.
