ASSISTANT ICT MANAGER job by National Peace Council
Job Summary- Responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities of the Council, help determine the IT needs of the Council and responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization’s information systems requirements
Qualification
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Membership of a relevant professional body will be an advantage
- Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Council in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.
Technical Competencies:
- Assist in IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Running regular checks on network and data security
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
- Assist in determining timeframes for IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
