A popular Pig farm in the raising and breeding of domestic pigs as livestock, and serving as a branch of animal husbandry is in urgent need of laborers.
Pigs there are farmed principally for food and skins. Their Pigs are amenable to many different styles of farming: intensive commercial units, commercial free range enterprises, or extensive farming.
PIG FARMER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The job generally requires the ability to perform the following duties:
Distributing food to pigs
Observing animals for signs of illness and giving medication when necessary
Performing facility maintenance
Checking for proper ventilation and temperature conditions
Assisting with problem births
Coordinating waste removal
Transporting stock to farms or processing plants
CONDITIONS OF LABOR
Accommodation is provided
Salary is 350 CEDI’s
