AI Quality Infrastructure Engineer Job in USA 2026 with Visa Sponsorship
A global technology delivery partner is hiring an AI Quality Infrastructure Engineer for enterprise AI operations in Mountain View, United States, with additional placement options across California, New York, and Texas. This full-time contract-to-permanent opportunity supports H-1B visa sponsorship and nearby relocation, making it suitable for senior international engineers seeking U.S. exposure in large-scale AI reliability systems.
This role targets experienced infrastructure professionals who specialize in building production-grade quality systems for modern AI platforms.
About Role
As an AI Quality Infrastructure Engineer, you will design and implement automated quality frameworks that ensure reliability across large language model (LLM) ecosystems. Rather than manually monitoring models, you will engineer scalable pipelines that continuously evaluate AI performance using synthetic testing, observability tooling, and automated incident response.
You’ll sit at the intersection of AI research and production engineering, building “LLM-as-a-judge” services, quality scoring engines, and backend pipelines that stream model telemetry into monitoring platforms. Your work will directly power alerting logic, data drift detection, and ML validation systems that support enterprise-grade deployments. This is a senior-level builder role focused on automation, system design, and operational excellence within high-volume AI environments.
About Hiring Firm
The engagement is delivered through a U.S.-based implementation partner supporting a large service-industry enterprise client. The organization specializes in cloud infrastructure, AI engineering, and production reliability, offering structured onboarding and employment-based visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates.

- Build automated quality tooling across the AI and agent development lifecycle
- Develop “LLM-as-a-judge” scoring engines and prompt testing pipelines
- Engineer production monitoring systems using synthetic tests and observability frameworks
- Create synthetic data generators for stress testing and benchmarking
- Build rapid labeling pipelines for AI agents
- Stream model logs and traces into monitoring platforms for real-time visualization
- Automate alerting and incident response logic based on performance thresholds
- Develop services to detect data drift and anomalous input patterns
- Design scalable ML infrastructure for validation, gatekeeping, and deployment readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 9–15 years of professional engineering experience
- Expert proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience building reusable APIs, libraries, and automation services
- Strong background in monitoring-as-code (Splunk, Amplitude, PagerDuty or similar)
- Deep understanding of LLM systems and testing non-deterministic models
- Proven system design skills for high-throughput, fault-tolerant platforms
- Builder mindset with strong problem-solving and automation instincts
- Eligibility for H-1B sponsorship or transfer
