Key Duties

As a Senior Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and reviewing financial statements that comply with IFRS/GAAP standards.
Managing month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Overseeing treasury operations, monitoring cash flow, and optimizing working capital.
Leading Capex accounting by tracking capital expenditures and managing asset depreciation.
Administering lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842 regulations.
Preparing the consolidated reporting package for group financial statements.
Ensuring compliance with financial controls and improving reporting processes.
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process with vital cash flow insights.
Coordinating with auditors during audits, preparing schedules, and resolving any queries.
Mentoring junior accounting staff and contributing to various financial projects.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or a related field.
Between 3 and 10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in SAP.
An MBA or CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
