Key Responsibilities and Duties

As a Security Guard with Prime Pharmacy Group, you will serve as the first line of defense for our premises. Your core duties will encompass the following key areas:

Asset and Personnel Protection: Your primary responsibility is ensuring the absolute safety and security of all staff, customers, and company property at your assigned pharmacy location.
Access Control and Surveillance: You will diligently control access to the premises, monitor all movement within the facility, and conduct regular internal and external patrols. Consequently, you will deter and prevent incidents of theft, vandalism, or any unauthorized activity
Incident Response and Enforcement: You must respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies on site. Furthermore, you are tasked with consistently enforcing all company security policies and standard operating procedures.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed daily security logs is essential. You will also prepare clear, concise incident reports for management review as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Ideal candidates for this frontline role must firmly meet the following criteria:

Possess a minimum of a Senior High School (SHS) certificate.
Have at least two years of proven professional experience working as a security guard, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment.
Be physically fit, alert, and possess strong observational skills to identify potential risks.
Demonstrate good verbal communication abilities for effective interaction with the public and staff.
Exhibit unwavering honesty, discipline, and reliability in all duties.
Show a clear willingness and ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Additionally, a basic understanding of security operations and a calm demeanor under pressure are highly advantageous.
Any formal security training or certification will be considered a significant plus.

Salary and Compensation: This position offers a net monthly salary of GH₵ 1,200. The role provides a stable opportunity within a respected healthcare retail group.

Location: Multiple vacancies exist at our various pharmacy retail outlets located throughout Accra. Successful candidates will be deployed to a specific location based on operational needs.
