Job Title: Van Sales Executive 

Position Overview

Eve Asa Company Ltd is actively searching for a motivated and results-driven Van Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This vital role serves as the primary link between our company and retail partners. You will directly manage a designated territory, driving sales growth through direct customer engagement and efficient product distribution. Essentially, you will operate as a mobile sales hub, representing our brand and ensuring our products reach the right shelves at the right time.

Core Responsibilities and Daily Duties

As a Van Sales Executive, your workday will be diverse and fast-paced. Your key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Sales and Distribution: You will sell and physically distribute our company’s products directly to retail outlets using an assigned sales van. A central focus will be achieving and exceeding your daily and weekly sales targets.
  • Inventory and Financial Management: You are responsible for meticulously managing van stock levels. Additionally, you must handle cash and payments from customers accurately, maintaining clear records for all transactions.
  • Route and Customer Management: You will service an assigned territory, ensuring timely deliveries and effective route planning. Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with store owners and managers is crucial for repeat business.
  • Brand Representation and Feedback: You will act as the face of our company in the market. This involves gathering valuable competitor insights and customer feedback to report back to the sales management team.
  • Asset Stewardship: A key duty is the proper care, maintenance, and safe operation of the company’s sales van. You must adhere to all road safety regulations and operational guidelines.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

To thrive in this hands-on role, ideal candidates will possess the following attributes:

  • A minimum of an HND certificate in any relevant field of study.
  • A valid driver’s licence, specifically Class “C”, and a confident driving record.
  • Previous direct experience in van sales, route sales, or the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated strong selling, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
  • Practical numerical skills, including the ability to perform basic calculations for invoices and stock counts.
  • Impeccable honesty, discipline, and a proven target-driven mindset.
  • Furthermore, excellent cash handling skills and systematic record keeping are essential for success.
  • Finally, you must be physically fit for loading and unloading products and possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
