About Role

The Payroll Specialist plays a critical operational role in managing payroll functions across multiple hotel properties. Reporting within the Accounting department, this position oversees weekly payroll processing, complex data audits, seasonal H-2B payroll coordination, and regulatory compliance activities.

The role involves working across multiple systems, including UKG payroll software and advanced Excel-based reporting structures. The successful candidate will manage high-volume seasonal onboarding and separations, including H-2B reimbursements, PTO payouts, and compliance documentation. Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll using UKG software and supporting Excel-based systems
  • Audit and reconcile payroll data across multiple financial and property management platforms
  • Manage payroll onboarding for high-volume seasonal and H-2B employees
  • Coordinate end-of-season payroll processes, including PTO payouts and reimbursements
  • Support annual payroll adjustments, bonuses, and compliance reporting
  • Complete quarterly and annual payroll verifications, including tax documentation
  • Generate payroll reports for HR and leadership teams
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure payroll accuracy across properties
  • Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and internal policies
  • Support additional payroll and accounting tasks as required

Requirements

  • Basic payroll processing experience preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with complex data sets
  • Experience with UKG and/or Sage 50 systems considered an advantage
