Form Ghana Limited is seeking skilled and safety-conscious individuals for the role of Chainsaw Operator. This position requires applying knowledge of tree characteristics, environmental factors, and precise cutting techniques to safely fell, debranch, and process trees within forestry thinning and clear-fell operations. Job Summary and Core Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the efficient and safe execution of tree felling and processing tasks as directed by management.

Safely fell, debranch, top, and cross-cut assigned trees according to operational plans.
Ensure all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is clean, functional, and worn at all times during duties.
Strictly comply with all prescribed company quality and safety standards and procedures.
Follow standard operating procedures to inspect the chainsaw, ensuring the chain and all safety features are in good working order before every use.
Perform safe routine maintenance on the equipment, including sharpening the chain, cleaning, and lubricating the machine.
Promptly report any unsafe acts, conditions, or equipment faults to the Felling Supervisor or Harvesting Supervisor.

Eligibility and Required Qualifications

Possess a minimum of a Junior High School (JHS) certificate or its equivalent.
Be in good physical and mental health, capable of performing strenuous outdoor work.
Demonstrate dependability, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
Have good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
Must hold a valid National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) card and an active Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) number.
