This role is ideal for early-career architectural professionals who want to build international-standard project experience within a respected, multidisciplinary U.S. design and engineering firm.

The position focuses on collaborative architectural design, technical documentation, and project delivery across education, commercial, civic, and institutional projects. While this role is based in the United States and operates within a globally recognized firm, it is important to note that this position does not offer H-1B or other U.S. work visa sponsorship, except for candidates who independently qualify under the TN visa classification.

This opportunity is therefore best suited for candidates who already have legal authorization to work in the United States or TN eligibility.

About Role

As an Architectural Designer I, you will work as part of an integrated design team, contributing to projects from early concept development through construction documentation and administration. You will support senior architects while taking responsibility for defined design and technical tasks on projects of moderate size and complexity.

The role is designed to accelerate your professional growth, strengthen your technical and design capabilities, and support your progress toward architectural licensure through the AXP and ARE pathways. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to architectural design across programming, concept, schematic, and detailed design phases
  • Prepare drawings, models, renderings, and presentation materials using industry-standard tools
  • Assist in producing construction documents, schedules, and technical details
  • Support project teams with design studies, layouts, and technical coordination
  • Participate in construction administration, including site visits and submittal reviews
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal disciplines
  • Prepare reports, specifications, and design documentation
  • Support client presentations and internal design reviews
  • Contribute to office initiatives, learning programs, and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture or a closely related field
  • Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design tools
  • Solid understanding of architectural drafting, documentation standards, and BIM workflows
  • Working knowledge of building codes, sustainability principles, and construction documentation
  • AXP in progress and intent to pursue architectural licensure (ARE)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a collaborative environment
  • Must already have U.S. work authorization or qualify independently for TN status (no H-1B sponsorship provided)
