Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality consultant-level radiology services across NHS Lanarkshire
- Participate in general radiology and contribute subspecialty expertise where applicable
- Provide on-call radiology services as part of the consultant rota
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
- Support multidisciplinary clinical teams and provide expert diagnostic input
- Participate in teaching, supervision, and training of junior doctors and trainees
- Engage in audit, research, and clinical governance activities
- Contribute to leadership, innovation, and strategic development of imaging services
Requirements
- Full registration or eligibility for registration with the UK General Medical Council (GMC)
- Completion of specialist training in radiology with consultant-level experience
- Eligibility for the UK Skilled Worker visa and Certificate of Sponsorship
- Experience in general radiology; subspecialty interests are highly desirable
