About the Role

The Truck & Dog Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting construction materials across various civil construction sites. You will operate heavy vehicles in compliance with HNVR regulations and support multiple project deliverables.
The role involves working both internally and on third-party hire projects, with flexibility to travel and work away during the week (accommodation and allowances provided). This is a full-time, on-site role with plenty of overtime and consistent work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Truck & Dog and other heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Transport construction materials in line with HNVR regulations
  • Support a variety of civil construction tasks and site activities
  • Work closely with site teams to meet project timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain high safety, reliability, and workmanship standards
  • Be flexible to work on different sites, including regional NSW projects

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience operating heavy vehicles (Truck & Dog)
  • Current HC Driver’s Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Good understanding of civil construction tasks and site operations
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel and work away Monday to Friday when required
