This rewarding opportunity is based within our Diagnostic Imaging team in Takoradi. We seek a dedicated professional committed to excellence in medical imaging.

About the Position

As a Radiographer at our facility, you will perform a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging procedures with a primary focus on X-ray services. Your technical expertise is vital for producing high-quality images that enable our physicians to deliver timely and accurate diagnoses. Consequently, you will play a direct role in shaping effective patient treatment plans.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

You will ensure the efficient and safe operation of our imaging services.

Operate and maintain digital X ray equipment and related imaging modalities with proficiency.
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images while prioritizing their comfort and safety.
Implement strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure correct image upload for radiologist review.
Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other medical staff to optimize patient care and departmental workflow.
Adhere rigorously to all established safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates must hold certification or registration as a Radiographer with the relevant professional council in Ghana.
Possess proven experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in general radiography and digital imaging.
Exhibit excellent technical skills and a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiation physics.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a clear focus on patient empathy and clear instruction.
Work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team in a fast paced environment.
Show a committed attitude toward continuing professional development and staying current with imaging technology advancements.
