Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, health education, and preventive care
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, HIV, asthma, and mental health conditions
  • Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests, and develop individualised care plans
  • Treat both pediatric and adult patients across the full age spectrum
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, specialists, and support staff
  • Document all clinical encounters accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to performance and patient satisfaction targets
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain up-to-date, evidence-based clinical practice

Requirements

  • Valid Physician Assistant licence and certification in good standing
  • 1–5 years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine or an exceptional structured training background
  • Proven ability to manage both adult and pediatric patients
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred, or a willingness to use translation tools
  • Strong clinical competence, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork skills
  • Must currently hold a J-1 visa and be eligible to transition to H-1B (direct H-1B transfers not accepted)
