Scholarship Coverage
This research scholarship is completely funded by COFAC’s internal resources and aims to assist students enrolled in PhD programs. The chosen applicant will work with COPELABS under the guidance of Prof. Dushantha Nalin K. Jayakody, concentrating on the development and modelling of sophisticated signal processing algorithms for combined terrestrial–underwater communication systems.
- Duration: 3 months (beginning October 1, 2025)
- Monthly Payment: €1,309.64 (transferred at the conclusion of each month through bank transfer)
- Work Plan: Investigate autonomous navigation and communication dependability, particularly in settings utilizing Terahertz (THz) and Underwater Visible Light Communication (UVLC) connections. The initiative will tackle practical issues such as misalignment, molecular absorption, water turbidity, and turbulence using adaptive methods.

Eligibility Requirements
