The Opportunity
We are hiring a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team in Accra. This role is central to driving our market expansion and revenue growth. You will be at the forefront of acquiring new clients, nurturing key relationships, and promoting our cutting-edge payment solutions. This position is ideal for a proactive sales professional passionate about fintech and building market presence.
Role Description
As a Business Development Executive, you will lead our commercial outreach and client engagement efforts. Your primary mission is to aggressively market and sell LibertéPay’s solutions, directly contributing to our growth targets. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to design tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and align with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- First, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, generating qualified leads and negotiating contracts to secure new merchant partnerships.
- You will lead client acquisition campaigns and develop strategies to ensure the retention and reactivation of existing merchants.
- A core duty involves managing relationships with key accounts, fostering loyalty, and maximizing account value.
- Furthermore, you will ensure strong brand projection and visibility for LibertéPay among both prospective and existing customers.
- You will also analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic business plans.
- Finally, you will work to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a strong commercial background:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field.
- Proven expertise in New Business Development, Lead Generation, and Account Management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable growth strategies.
- A self-motivated, target-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting sales objectives.
- Prior experience in FinTech, digital payments, or financial services is a significant advantage.
