Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the annual Workplace Safety Best Practice Development (BPD) action plans. Training is another crucial aspect of this position. You will create and deliver safety training programs for both new and existing employees.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet specific requirements. First, you need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Additionally, having at least two years of full-time experience in Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, or Workplace Safety is essential.

Candidates must also have a solid understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario. Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of initiative are necessary for effective collaboration. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously is crucial, as is demonstrating excellent time management skills.
