Reasons to Apply
The TAGDev 2.0 Programme (2023-2033) seeks to bolster universities and TVET institutions to improve their roles in Africa’s agricultural and economic transformation. This scholarship offers comprehensive assistance to academically gifted yet financially struggling young Africans, enabling them to obtain undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Gulu University in Uganda.

Gulu University Scholarship Benefits
This is a scholarship at Gulu University that is fully funded and includes the following:
- Tuition costs
- Funding for research
- Costs for workshops and conferences

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this esteemed scholarship at Gulu University, candidates are required to:
- Be a citizen of Uganda or one of the East African nations applying the East Africa Higher Education Protocol (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan).
- Be economically underprivileged, belonging to marginalized groups, and/or hailing from conflict or post-conflict regions.
- Applicants must be under 30 years old for undergraduate programs and under 35 years old for master’s programs at the time they apply.
- Have finished secondary school or a diploma for undergraduate programs in the past two years. (For refugees and internally displaced persons, this duration goes up to four years.)
- Fulfill the entry requirements for the chosen degree program at Gulu University.
- Demonstrate a passion for agriculture, agribusiness, and entrepreneurial ventures.
- Exhibit leadership abilities and a dedication to community change.
- Candidates currently holding another scholarship are NOT qualified.
- Previous TAGDev Scholarship recipients are INELIGIBLE.
