The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated People and Culture Partner II to join our Human Resources team. This role provides crucial support, implementation, and advisory services across a range of People and Culture programs and policies. As a career-level professional, you will work independently on moderately complex projects while collaborating on larger initiatives. Your work will directly impact our staff experience, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and connected in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
You will serve as a strategic partner to assigned teams, fostering a positive and productive work culture. Your core duties will include:
- Spiritual Leadership: Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, serving as a consistent witness and upholding the ministry in prayer.
- Child Protection: Actively prioritize child protection in all decisions and abide by our safeguarding commitments, reporting any concerns through proper channels.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Build strong relationships to deepen workforce engagement. Support teams in matters like performance management, conflict resolution, discipline, and staff development.
- Program Implementation: Conduct operational tasks and coordinate programs related to performance management, compensation, benefits, and engagement surveys.
- Compliance & Advisory: Utilize knowledge of employment laws to ensure compliance and provide recommendations. Investigate and resolve employee concerns professionally.
- Partnership & Facilitation: Assist Centers of Excellence (COEs) and facilitate events such as team-building sessions, strategic planning, and new employee orientation.
- Data-Informed Action: Monitor HR metrics to gauge engagement levels and recommend timely interventions to address team challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will align with our mission and possess relevant expertise:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related field.
- A minimum of three years of progressive experience in a human resources generalist or business partner role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in data analytics to inform decisions.
- An HR professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a strong advantage.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and certification will receive consideration.

- Work Environment & Requirements
- Primary Environment: Standard office setting.
- Physical Demands: Capability to sit, stand, or walk for up to eight hours daily.
- Travel: May require travel up to 10% of the time.
