Eligibility Requirements
In order to be considered, applicants need to meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid foreign passport and be a non-Chinese citizen.
- Comply with Chinese laws and YNU regulations while honoring local customs.
- Uphold positive behavior, and prioritize both physical and mental well-being.
- Applicants for the Master’s Degree must possess a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
- Applicants for the Doctoral Degree must possess a master’s degree and be under the age of 40.

- Programs taught in Chinese: HSK Level 4 (minimum score of 180) or evidence of education conducted in Chinese.
- Programs taught in English require an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL score of at least 90, or an equivalent certification.
