Job Title: Machinery Services Supervisor

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Machinery Services Supervisor to lead our service team in Kumasi. This pivotal role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee the maintenance, repair, and field service of our core machinery. You will ensure our combine harvesters and tractors operate at peak performance, directly supporting our customers’ success in the field. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who combines deep mechanical knowledge with strong supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of our service operations. Your core duties will include:

First, you will directly oversee the assembly, routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of combine harvesters and tractors.
You will manage the after-sales service team by scheduling field service visits and ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently and on time.
A primary responsibility involves providing expert technical guidance and training to technicians on complex repairs and maintenance procedures.
Furthermore, you will coordinate closely with the warehouse team to manage parts procurement, ensuring availability for timely and effective repairs.
You will also enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols in the workshop and during field service operations.
Additionally, you will monitor machine performance data and repair histories to identify trends and recommend improvements for reliability.
You will prepare and submit regular, detailed service reports to management on team performance, repair status, and parts inventory.
Finally, you will perform any other related duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring substantial field and leadership experience:

A minimum of four years of experience in a supervisory role within agricultural machinery maintenance and repair.
In-depth, practical knowledge of tractor and combine harvester systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Proven experience directly supervising a team of technicians in a workshop or field service environment.
Strong leadership abilities and excellent problem-solving skills to address technical and logistical challenges.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with teams, management, and customers.
The flexibility and willingness to travel as needed for field service support and customer visits.
