Job Title: Steel Sales Manager

The Opportunity
We are recruiting a results-driven Steel Sales Manager to spearhead our sales growth throughout Ghana. This senior role requires a strategic leader who can develop new channels, inspire high-performing teams, and secure key client relationships. You will have direct responsibility for strengthening our market position and achieving significant sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
In this leadership position, you will oversee critical aspects of our commercial operations. Your primary duties will include:
- First, you will identify and establish new distribution channels and partnerships to actively expand our market reach and coverage.
- You will provide direct leadership to our sales teams, focusing on mentoring, motivation, and performance management to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
- A core objective is developing and executing effective strategies for new client acquisition to increase our overall market share.
- Furthermore, you will analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify fresh growth opportunities and adapt our sales approach accordingly.
- Additionally, you will manage key accounts and nurture strategic relationships to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- You will also prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and detailed performance reports for senior management review.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in industrial sales leadership:
- A minimum of five years of specific sales management experience within the steel, hardware, or closely related building materials sector in Ghana.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-regional sales operations, ideally with experience covering Greater Accra and other key regions.
- Proven ability to effectively lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to deliver outstanding results.
- Fluency in English and at least one major local language, both written and verbal, is essential.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
