An exciting opportunity has arisen for a salaried general practitioner to join the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) team at Wythenshawe Hospital’s Emergency Care Village. The UTC is located near the Wythenshawe Adult Emergency Department. Patients with mild illnesses or injuries can receive same-day examination and treatment at the clinic.
The team consists of emergency nurse practitioners and advanced nurse practitioners, who are medically supported by general practitioners. In addition, the team works closely with the emergency department, secondary care, social services, mental health, and other specialty services.
