Eligibility Requirements for the 2026 to 2027 Intake

1. Academic Standing
- Undergraduate students must complete at least two semesters at Bogazici University
- Graduate students must complete at least one semester, not including English Prep or remedial terms
- Minimum GPA for undergraduates: 2.50 out of 4.00
- Minimum GPA for graduate students: 3.00 out of 4.00
2. Host University Requirements
Students must also satisfy all conditions of the partner university they choose, which may include:
- Verified language proficiency
- Higher GPA thresholds
- Course or departmental prerequisites
3. Enrollment Requirement
- Students must return to Bogazici University and study for at least one additional semester after the exchange period
- Senior students must secure advisor approval that confirms continued enrollment after their return
4. Language Documentation
- Students without BUEPT scores must email their IELTS or TOEFL results before applying
- Students with improved BUEPT results must submit the updated score before the application deadline
5. Rules for Previous Exchange Participants
- Students who joined an Exchange Program before can reapply, but the committee deducts ten points
- Students cannot join more than two total exchange semesters
- Students who complete a full year abroad cannot apply again
