Duties of Australia Veterinary Surgeon Jobs 2025

You will have the following duties:

First and foremost, you should diagnose, treat, and stop diseases in animals, do surgeries, give consultations, and offer preventive care.
Second, you will do routine check-ups, immunizations, and emergency operations at small animal clinics.
Third, in large animal or mixed practices, you will be in charge of herd health, reproductive services, and procedures.
You will also work with people from different fields on teams, and you will often have access to innovative diagnostic tools, including ultrasound, endoscopy, and digital radiography.
Finally, you will focus on subjects like theriogenology (reproduction), cancer, or emergency/critical care (ECC), and you will work in schools.
