Job Title: Partnership Lead

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and execute Old Mutual’s diaspora engagement strategy. You will design initiatives that mobilize international networks, enhance distribution channels, and strengthen the company’s presence among global African communities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Implementation:

Design and implement a comprehensive diaspora partnership strategy aligned with Old Mutual’s business objectives.
Identify, negotiate, and formalize partnerships with diaspora associations, investment groups, and international networks.
Onboard new diaspora partners and establish clear collaboration frameworks.

Engagement and Activation:

Create and manage dynamic engagement initiatives, including virtual and in-person events, targeted campaigns, and ambassador programs.
Coordinate cross-functional teams from Business Development, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to ensure successful partnership activation.
Develop tailored programs that resonate with diaspora audiences and support customer acquisition.

Performance and Compliance Management:

Track and analyze partnership performance using key metrics and regular reporting.
Ensure all partnerships adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
Manage partnership budgets and evaluate return on investment for diaspora initiatives.

Capacity Building and Collaboration:

Build internal capability by training regional teams on effective diaspora engagement practices.
Support market-specific strategies that leverage diaspora networks for business development.
Foster knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization.
