Job Duties

In your role as Horticulture Assistant, you will:

Perform essential cultivation operations such as harvesting, trimming, curing, and finishing to meet production timelines.
Support propagation, transplanting, pruning, irrigation, fertilization, and pest management efforts.
Maintain cleanliness and sterility in all production areas, regularly cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
Uphold the integrity of cultivation areas to assist in producing top-quality low-THC, high-CBD medical cannabis.
Operate and maintain equipment in the grow facility for optimal efficiency.

Job Requirements

To excel in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid government-issued ID.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Understanding of proper plant cultivation techniques.
Experience in introducing new plant varieties and in-house propagation.
Familiarity with fertilizers, pesticides, customer service, and inventory management software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Windows-based software and internet navigation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
Capability to navigate uneven terrain or confined spaces.
Willingness to remain in a standing or moving position for extended periods.
Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting.
Capacity to work in extreme weather conditions while wearing personal protective gear.
