  • Partner and Grant Oversight: Providing direct financial monitoring and capacity building to project partners will be a regular duty. You will conduct financial reviews of sub-grantees to verify compliance with EU requirements.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies is crucial. You will also prepare for internal and external audits while ensuring prompt resolution of any audit findings.
  • Coordination and Support: Working closely with the Project Accountant and Coordinator, you will provide regular financial updates and help strengthen financial systems across the project.

Your Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a closely related field.
  • At least three to five years of professional experience in finance, audit, or compliance, preferably within a donor-funded or NGO environment.
  • Solid understanding of EU donor regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Ghana’s accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Experience in partner financial monitoring, sub-grant management, or conducting financial reviews.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
