About the Role

As the Product Development & Commercial Manager, you will occupy a critical leadership role within the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee end-to-end product management. Your responsibilities will include shaping product strategy and ensuring successful market performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies while driving innovation and lifecycle management.
Lead initiatives for product costing, pricing, and enhancing profit margins.
Guarantee that product designs are efficient and commercially viable.
Manage product development teams and establish measurable KPIs for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with suppliers and builders to create new materials and designs.
Improve SKU rationalization and enhance speed-to-market processes.
Drive the commercialization of new products through effective marketing techniques.

Job Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess a blend of strategic insight and practical experience in product development. The following qualifications are essential:

Over 10 years of experience in product development, commercial management, or innovation leadership.
Strong financial understanding along with P&L accountability.
Proven track record in leading cross-functional or multi-site teams.
Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and modular systems.
Experience in managing supplier partnerships and executing new product launches.
A consistent history of delivering profitable growth and product excellence.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Industrial Design, or Business are highly desirable.
