Job Title: Head of Enterprise Architecture

Job Description

Ericsson, a global leader in communications technology, is seeking an accomplished Head of Enterprise Architecture to join our Service Line Business and Operations Systems (BOS) team. This key leadership position within the MEMA region (Middle East, Mediterranean, and Africa) offers a strategic opportunity to shape the future of telecom operations and business support systems.

As part of the BOS Delivery Excellence Leadership team, you will report directly to the Head of SL BOS Delivery Excellence for MEMA. You will champion enterprise architecture practices while leading end-to-end solution presales and delivery for our most complex digital transformation projects.

What You Will Do

In this high-impact role, your responsibilities will span strategic leadership, team development, and solution delivery:

Lead End-to-End Solutions: Direct BOS portfolio presales and solution delivery, managing a team of enterprise architects and cross-portfolio specialists.
Establish Architectural Governance: Found and led enterprise architecture standards and design authority practices across the region.
Manage Senior Teams: Serve as a senior people manager for your unit while providing matrix leadership across BOS solution lines and SD/SDU units.
Drive Performance Excellence: Set individual performance goals, conduct regular development check-ins, and ensure team dimensioning meets business needs.
Own Financial Outcomes: Manage cost center responsibilities to deliver over-absorption targets and maintain optimal team utilization rates.
Oversee Complex Deliveries: Assume accountability for presales and delivery of integrated BOS solutions, including third-party products and complex transformations.
Innovate Offerings: Plan and industrialize initiatives that enhance Ericsson BOS offerings for better customer fit and competitive advantage.
Develop Talent: Manage competence development and upskilling programs to ensure your team can serve evolving business requirements.
Optimize Operations: Review delivery models, secure necessary skill sets, and foster knowledge sharing across your community.
Champion Modern Practices: Instill cultures of add-on sales, customer value maximization, and automation adoption in collaboration with product management.
Resolve Escalations: Lead resolution of product and solution escalations while serving as the single point of accountability for multi-component OSS/BSS solutions.

What You Will Bring

Essential Qualifications:

Twelve or more years in the telecom industry with proven leadership in OSS/BSS transformations
University degree in ICT or Engineering; MBA or graduate degree preferred
Strong people management experience leading senior team members and other leaders
Enterprise architecture mastery (TOGAF, TMForum: eTOM, ODA, SID, TAM)
Principal Solution Architect GIAP certification (mandatory)
Expert knowledge of full-stack BSS and OSS domains and surrounding technologies

Technical Expertise:

Cloud-native and platform architecture
Security, privacy, and compliance frameworks
AI and automation strategy
Data management and analytics
Integration and API ecosystems
Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery

Leadership Capabilities:

Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed global teams
Exceptional consultative, presentation, and executive communication skills
Proven ability to deliver results in time-sensitive, high-pressure environments
Organizational and solution-level governance expertise
Fluency in English; additional regional languages are advantageous
