We are now looking for a dedicated Warehouse Staff member to join our dynamic team in Tarkwa, playing a crucial role in our on-site logistics operations.
Your Mission: The Core of Our Operations
As a Warehouse Staff member at Epiroc, you will be the backbone of our inventory management and order fulfillment process. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. You will maintain the integrity of our stock and provide exceptional support to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, your daily activities will include:
- Managing all aspects of on-site consignment stock, including processing incoming and outgoing items.
- Organizing regular inventory counts and conducting precise stock reconciliations.
- Preparing and processing invoices for customer orders promptly.
- Analyzing consumption history to manage stock replenishment and create proactive replenishment proposals.
- Handling customer quotation requests and purchase orders with accuracy.
- Ensuring all shipping and receiving documentation is complete and transmitted correctly.
- Performing necessary physical handling tasks, including the safe lifting and moving of heavy items.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in full compliance with site safety rules.
- Acting as a helpful logistics contact for customer inquiries and serving as a reliable link between the customer and Epiroc.
Your Profile: Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply or a related field.
- The flexibility to adapt to various operating hours and a willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call schedule.
- Excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
- The physical ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting, consistently following safe lifting practices.
- The capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Solid computer literacy, including practical skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
