About the Role
In this crucial role, you will utilize your specialized skills to perform a diverse array of diagnostic ultrasound examinations. Furthermore, your precise imaging work will provide our physicians with the critical data they need, directly contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective, personalized treatment plans for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Your day to day duties will be both challenging and rewarding. Specifically, you will:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies.
- Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment to the highest standards of safety and performance.
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout every procedure, ensuring a positive and reassuring experience.
- Maintain meticulous patient records and compile detailed preliminary technical reports for our interpreting physicians.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical staff to optimize patient care pathways.
- Strictly adhere to all established safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A valid certification or registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- Proven hands on experience in a clinical setting, with demonstrated proficiency across multiple ultrasound modalities.
- Outstanding technical skills paired with a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a genuine focus on patient empathy and care.
- The capability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of our multidisciplinary team.
