POSITION: Delivery Personnel
Genius Brain Limited is recruiting a Delivery Personnel on behalf of our client, FirstKlass Shipping Specialist, an international door to door shipping and logistics company headquartered in the United Kingdom with growing operations in Ghana. If you hold a JHS or SHS certificate, possess one to two years of experience in delivery, retail, warehouse, or logistics, and want to play a critical role in last mile delivery execution, this role offers the perfect opportunity to join a dynamic logistics team.

Your Mission: Deliver Safely, Accurately, and Professionally
You will take responsibility for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of goods to customers. Your focus will span pre dispatch preparation, loading accountability, delivery execution, customer communication, proof of delivery, system updates, documentation, failed delivery handling, and warehouse support. Your ability to work closely with assigned drivers and follow authorization protocols for returns will protect the company’s reputation and assets.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans pre dispatch, loading, delivery, customer communication, proof of delivery, system updates, documentation, failed deliveries, and warehouse support. Here is what you will tackle:
Pre Dispatch Preparation
- You will confirm assigned delivery areas with the Operations Manager and liaise with your assigned driver on the daily schedule.
- Collecting, verifying, and sorting all delivery items ensures correct items, correct quantities, no visible damage, and complete documentation before dispatch.
Loading & Accountability
- You will stay present and actively involved during loading, verifying all items against the delivery manifest.
- Ensuring proper handling and secure loading protects goods, and your accountability begins at the point of loading.
Delivery Execution
- You will deliver items to customers accurately and on time, completing deliveries the same day where feasible.
- Ensuring correct recipient verification, no missed deliveries, and no damage to goods keeps customers happy.
Customer Communication
- You will contact customers before dispatch to confirm availability and provide estimated time of arrival while en route.
- Maintaining professional, respectful communication builds trust. You must never contact senders under any circumstances.
Proof of Delivery (POD)
- You will obtain customer signature upon delivery, recording date, time, and recipient name.
- Updating delivery confirmation in the system immediately closes the loop.
System Updates & Reporting
- You will update delivery status in real time and report issues immediately to Customer Service.
- Reporting failed deliveries, delays, damages, and customer concerns allows the team to respond promptly.
Documentation
- You will ensure all delivery notes are properly completed, signed, and accurate.
- Submitting all documents at the end of each day keeps records clean and audit ready.
Failed Deliveries & Returns
- You will record the reason for any failed delivery and notify Customer Service immediately.
- Following re delivery instructions carefully prevents confusion. Items must not return to the warehouse without authorization.
Warehouse Support (When Required)
- You will assist in warehouse organization, loading and offloading, sorting shipments, and preparing deliveries.
- Flexibility keeps the entire logistics chain moving.

Qualifications & Experience
- Basic education (JHS or SHS certificate).
- Basic literacy to read addresses and fill forms accurately.
- One to two years of experience in delivery, retail, warehouse, or logistics.
Physical & Practical Requirements
- Physical fitness to walk long distances, stand for long hours, and lift items.
- Ability to handle and deliver packages without damage.
- Good attitude and reliability, because customers depend on your punctuality.
- Basic communication and navigation skills for finding addresses and speaking with customers.
- Good time management to complete deliveries efficiently.
- Record keeping skills for filling delivery notes and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Customer service skills for interacting professionally with recipients.
