POSITION: HR & People Operations
Aquantuo is seeking an HR & People Operations Associate to join our team. As HR & People Operations Associate, you will support the people who make all of this possible, ensuring our team members feel supported, compliant, and engaged.
Your Mission: Support Day to Day HR Operations
You will support day to day HR operations within Ghana, ensuring efficient delivery of HR services across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Your work will focus primarily on local HR needs while providing light coordination and administrative support across other markets as required. You will work closely with the Country Manager and Regional HR to ensure consistency in HR processes, accurate record keeping, and alignment with company policies and local labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, reporting, and cross country support. Here is what you will tackle:
HR Operations & Administration
- You will support end to end HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, confirmations, and exits.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date employee records and HR documentation keeps us audit ready.
- Coordinating payroll inputs, benefits administration, and statutory requirements with Finance and external partners ensures employees get paid correctly and on time.
- Ensuring proper documentation, filing, and record management in line with company standards protects our information.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- You will coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Supporting hiring managers with recruitment documentation and processes speeds up hiring.
- Facilitating onboarding to ensure smooth integration of new employees sets them up for success.
- Ensuring all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time prevents compliance gaps.
Employee Relations & Performance Support
- You will support the performance management process, including documentation and tracking of appraisal cycles.
- Assisting in handling employee relations matters such as grievances and disciplinary processes in line with company policy resolves issues fairly.
- Providing first level HR support and guidance to employees and managers builds trust.
- Escalating complex or sensitive matters to Regional HR as required ensures proper handling.
Learning & Development
- You will coordinate training sessions and track employee participation and learning records.
- Supporting managers in identifying training needs and development opportunities builds capability.
- Maintaining records of learning and development activities tracks our investment in people.
Employee Engagement & Wellness
- You will support the implementation of employee engagement and wellness initiatives within Ghana.
- Assisting in organizing activities that promote employee well being and team cohesion strengthens our culture.
- Encouraging participation in company wide engagement initiatives builds connection across markets.
Compliance & Policy Support
- You will ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements within Ghana.
- Supporting the implementation and consistent application of HR policies and procedures creates fairness.
- Assisting in audits and ensuring proper documentation for compliance purposes protects the company.
- Staying informed on basic labor law requirements and escalating complex issues to Regional HR keeps us current.
HR Reporting & Data Management
- You will prepare and maintain HR reports on headcount, recruitment, turnover, and other key metrics.
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of employee data in HR systems supports decision making.
- Supporting data collection and reporting for HR reviews and audits demonstrates transparency.
Cross Country HR Support
- You will provide administrative and coordination support for HR activities in other countries as required.
- Assisting with documentation, reporting, and process alignment across multiple markets builds consistency.
- Then, supporting Regional HR initiatives that span multiple countries broadens your exposure.
- Lastly, ensuring all cross country activities are guided and approved by Regional HR maintains proper oversight.
What You Bring to the Role

Experience & Education
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
- A basic understanding of local labor laws and HR practices.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
