September 17th, 2020 at 07:56 pm

In this guide, we’ll be looking at the list of universities offering accounting in Ghana. We’ll also look at career opportunities for accounting graduates in Ghana as well as the requirements of becoming an accountant in Ghana.

Accounting is one of the core disciplines in business management. Accountants are trained to examine and analyse financial reports. Accounting is often studied alongside other subjects such as finance, banking or law.

This shows that accountancy is an indiscipline profession which requires students having a grasp of core elements of business practice, as well as the need for effective communication with clients and technical skills such as data input.

In Ghana, accountants study at the university for at least four years. After graduation you can proceed to become a chartered accountant, howbeit after taking the professional accountancy exams.
