POSITION: Finance and Operations Controller

Role Overview
The Finance and Operations Controller will oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, and administrative systems. You will ensure that all financial processes align with business goals and regulatory requirements. At the same time, you will support operational teams by providing accurate insights that guide decision making.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage several core functions that drive efficiency and accountability:
Financial Management
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial forecasts
- Track profitability across different business units and provide insights
- Support strategic planning through accurate financial reporting
Working Capital and Cash Control
- Enforce receivables targets and ensure timely collection of payments
- Monitor payables and maintain a healthy cash conversion cycle
- Strengthen cash flow management to support daily operations
Budgeting and Cost Management
- Develop budgets and monitor performance against approved plans
- Conduct variance analysis to identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Evaluate unit economics to enhance cost efficiency
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as GRA and SSNIT
- Support both internal and external audits with accurate documentation
- Maintain reliable reporting systems that meet organizational standards
Administration and Operational Support
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure effective resource utilization
- Manage company assets and maintain proper records
- Support HR related activities including payroll processing and contract management
Furthermore, your ability to coordinate across departments will help improve operational alignment and performance.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- HND or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional certification such as ACCA or ICA will provide an advantage
- Between two and five years of relevant experience in finance or operations
In addition, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
