POSITION: Customer Service Agent
Delta Air Lines is currently recruiting a Customer Service Agent to join its operations team at Kotoka International Airport. Role Overview
In this position, you will manage both customer interactions and operational coordination. You will guide teams, support aircraft turnaround processes, and ensure passengers receive timely assistance. At the same time, you will work closely with the Operations Service Manager to maintain safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will involve a combination of customer service and operational leadership. Responsibilities include:
- Serve as a key point of contact for passengers, staff, and external partners
- Coordinate aircraft turnaround activities to ensure timely departures and arrivals
- Maintain a strong presence in customer facing areas while assisting travelers with their needs
- Monitor operations across both above wing and below wing activities to ensure efficiency
- Address operational disruptions quickly and implement solutions that minimize delays
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating positive and memorable experiences
- Guide and support ground staff and service agents to maintain high performance standards
- Build strong working relationships with vendors, partners, and internal teams
- Assist customers with complaints, including issues related to accessibility and special services
- Follow safety procedures at all times to protect passengers, staff, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with company policies, airport regulations, and service standards
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and maintain required certifications

Skills and Qualifications Required
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Strong commitment to safety and security in all activities
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand detailed instructions
- Fluency in English
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes
- Strong leadership skills to guide teams and coordinate operations
- High level of professionalism when handling sensitive customer information
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have legal authorization to live and work in Ghana
In addition, candidates must demonstrate good judgment, reliability, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Preferred Qualifications
