Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Your days will vary between hands on technical work, client engagement, and strategic optimization. Here is what you will tackle:

Technical Support & MPS Implementation

You will install, configure, and maintain a wide range of office equipment including Xerox and HP printers, photocopiers, and multifunction devices.
Providing on site and remote support for Managed Print Services environments will become second nature. This includes device monitoring, print management software, and user access controls.
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues ensures optimal uptime and efficiency for our clients.

Customer Service & Account Management

You will serve as the primary technical contact for assigned MPS client accounts. Timely responses to service calls and proactive follow ups will define your success.
Building strong relationships with customers comes through regular preventive maintenance visits and performance reviews.
Educating clients on best practices for print management, device usage, and cost optimization adds tremendous value beyond basic support.

Monitoring & Reporting

Using service management tools such as 4me, 3Manager, or equivalent, you will monitor device performance, supplies, and service tickets.
Tracking key metrics like page volumes, consumable usage, and uptime allows you to spot trends before they become problems.
Preparing and submitting accurate daily activity, service visit, and performance reports keeps supervisors informed and operations running smoothly.

Product Knowledge & Continuous Improvement

Maintaining up to date expertise on Docutech products, MPS solutions, and internal service procedures keeps you ahead of the curve.
Identifying opportunities to enhance client print environments, reduce costs, and improve efficiency will set you apart.
Supporting team initiatives to improve overall service delivery and operational processes shows your commitment to excellence.

What You Bring to the Role

We are looking for a blend of education, hands on experience, and personal drive. Here is what you need:

Education & Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in IT support or technical servicing.
Direct exposure to Managed Print Services or enterprise print solutions makes you highly desirable.
Proven hands on experience with installing and servicing printers, copiers, and multifunction devices is essential.

Technical Skills

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills for hardware, software, and network related issues.
Ability to install and configure print management software and integrate devices into client networks securely.

Soft Skills

Excellent customer service orientation paired with professional communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Other Requirements

A commitment to continuous learning and staying current on MPS technologies.
A valid driving license and the ability to drive. You will travel to client sites regularly.
