Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage on-site data center technicians
Act as the primary point of contact for all facility operations and escalations
Prioritize daily workloads and coordinate activities across infrastructure teams
Oversee rack/stack builds, server installations, and hardware decommissioning
Provide advanced troubleshooting support for server, storage, and network issues
Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and escalation protocols
Maintain accurate operational documentation in ticketing systems
Monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions within the facility
Review build documentation and drive continuous process improvement

Requirements

8+ years of combined technical and people leadership experience
5+ years of hands-on work in data center, NOC, or infrastructure environments
Strong knowledge of server, storage, and networking hardware
Basic Linux and Windows command-line familiarity
Experience with rack/stack procedures, cabling, power, and cooling best practices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical installation tasks
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfort working in 24/7 operational environments with shift flexibility
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
