Under the Alberta Rural Renewal Stream, people who want to move to Alberta must meet the following requirements:

  1. You must have a valid offer of full-time work from a rural Alberta company.
  2. The job must be on the list of jobs that are qualified for the Rural Renewal Stream.
  3. Have worked full-time in their field for at least 12 months in the last 18 months.
  4. Show that you can speak English or French at or above a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 4.
  5. Be able to legally live in the country where they are now
  6. Make enough money based on the size of your family.
