Yale University Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program 2024 – funded
The Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program at Yale University is accepting applications from individuals who meet the requirements to be considered for the fellowship. This is a residential program that takes place full-time and is housed under the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale.
The selected applicants to the fellowship in the United States of America for students from other countries will have the opportunity to broaden their perspectives, gain knowledge from one another, and develop both professionally and personally. Weekly lectures on personal development, group travel, hosting events, student mentoring, and group travel are some of the major components of the fellowship in the United States that Yale offers to international students.

Criteria for Acceptance into the Program
Applicants to the Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program at Yale University are responsible for ensuring that they satisfy the following requirements in order to be eligible for the program:
- Have between five and twenty-five years of experience under their belts in their respective professional fields.
- There is neither a minimum nor a maximum age requirement to become a World Fellow, and the average age of a World Fellow is 39 years old.
- You need to prove that you are a citizen of a nation other than the United States.
- All applicants are required to have excellent command of the English language.
- In order to be considered for a fellowship at Yale University, applicants are required to have an impressive track record that demonstrates both their outstanding achievements and their high level of integrity.
- The applicant needs to be able to show that they have a dedication to the betterment of society and to having a beneficial influence at the regional, national, or international level.
- The possibility of a future profession that involves leadership and will have a significant impact on the world.
- The applicant needs to demonstrate that they have a unique ability in terms of critical thinking, creative thinking, business entrepreneurship, and strategic thinking.
- Applicants are required to demonstrate a commitment to a demanding program of activities, to full-time residency at Yale for the entirety of the period of the program, and to mentoring students and speaking frequently on campus.

It is important for anyone interested in applying for the Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program to be aware that the whole application process is conducted online, and that applications can be submitted at any time up until the application deadline.
Applicants are required to create an account in order to gain access to the online application, following which they will be able to upload required materials and submit requests for letters of recommendation.

- A curriculum vitae or resume (no longer than three pages in length).
- A personal statement (up to a maximum of one thousand words).
- Three letters of recommendation from previous employers or instructors.
- Applicants now have the option of sending a short video statement in addition to their written application.

PROGRAM DETAILS
The Jackson School of Global Affairs is home to the four-month, full-time residential Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program, which is run by Yale’s International Leadership Center. Every year, the program runs from mid-August until mid-December.
World Fellows have the chance to broaden their perspectives, gain knowledge from one another, and develop both personally and professionally through the Program. World Fellows participate in panels and lectures, work with colleagues, observe classes, and mentor students in addition to adding to Yale’s intellectual life.

WEEKLY SEMINARS
Good Society: World Fellows share with one another how they hope to improve the world, what they do for a living, and how they help to create a “good society.”
Salon: World Fellows invite eminent individuals to speak with them on important subjects, extending their expertise and refuting their opinions.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
World Fellows receive training in skill development as well as one-on-one and group coaching. World Fellows are able to work on solo or group projects, do independent research, and audit a large number of Yale’s more than 2,000 course offerings.
ORGANIZING EVENTS
World Fellows share their knowledge and experience with Yale’s academics and students through speeches and panel discussions. As a valuable resource to the university, fellows are frequently in great demand on campus.
MENTORING OF STUDENTS
Yale students who apply to be their liaisons are mentored by World Fellows. The student liaisons make sure that World Fellows are completely integrated into Yale society and help organize events for them.
