The West African Examination Council invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the under-mentioned vacant positions in the Ghana National Office:

1 . SECURITY COORDINATOR

  • Advice Management on security-related issues
  • Work in collaboration with the Head of security to protect personnel and properties of the Council.
  • Work towards the prevention of examination malpractices

2 . SECURITY GUARDS

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling the property and monitoring surveillance equipment
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities

3 . SECRETARIES

  • Prepare minutes of meetings and proceedings of seminar/conferences
  • Manage files and other records in office
  • Handle correspondence between departments

4 . ACCOUNTS CLERKS

  • Perform accounting and clerical duties in the Finance Department
  • Type, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare bank deposit slips, general ledger postings, and statements

5 . DRIVERS

  • Convey materials, equipment, and staff to areas where they are required
  • Ensure vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition
  • Ensure that vehicle repairs are carried out properly

6 . ASSISTANT TRANSPORT OFFICER

  • Ensure the maintenance and servicing of the vehicles
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of all the institution’s vehicles
  • Arrange for repairs and routine maintenance

7 . DATA ENTRY CLERKS

  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
  • Maintain data antly requirement by following data program and procedures and reporting needed changes
  • Secure information by completing database backups.

8 . EXAMINATION CLERKS

  • Perform routine clerical duties including certification of verified documents
  • Control and allocate worked scripts
  • Assist in packing and distribution of examination stationery
