Ghanaian female musician, Wendy Addo otherwise known as Wendy Shay in Showbiz has bitterly expressed her discomfort with the recent decision taken by the Gaming Commission to ban celebrities from advertising for betting companies.
She has expressed her willingness to take on some authorities in the country following their interference with some activities of celebrities in Ghana.
The self acclaimed “Queen of Ghana Music” stated that she is going to take on the Food and Drugs Authority and the Gaming commission of Ghana.
She is not happy because the Gaming Comission of Ghana has recently banned celebrities from advertising for betting companies. The Food and Drugs Authorities too sometime ago banned them from advertising for alcoholic drink companies.
The award winning musician called on all Ghanaian celebrities to put their differences aside and come together to fight the system.
Wendy Shay in a post spotted by NewsNowGh on her twitter handle emphasized that she is going to take the two authorities (Gaming commission and FDA) to the human rights court for celebrities are also Ghanaians And they deserve better.
