POSITION: Recovery Officer (Tepa, Wa)

Purpose

The role is dedicated to supporting the Credit Operations by ensuring the collection of all written-off loans. Additionally, the position involves maintaining a strong portfolio quality across the institution by following up with defaulted clients for timely repayments.

Key Responsibilities

• Recover all written-off loans.
• Immediately follow up with defaulted clients to secure repayments.
• Help ensure that the Institution’s Portfolio at Risk (PAR) remains within acceptable limits.
• Maintain accurate records of the written-off loan portfolio and recoveries.
• Provide timely reports to management and field teams to aid in effective decision-making.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by your Supervisor or their designate.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification

• DBS/HND in a relevant field
• Completion of National Service
• 1 to 2 years of practical experience in a similar role
• Must be a practicing Christian

• Willingness to work in remote areas
• Strong team spirit
• Dynamic, innovative, and self-motivated
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and remain goal-oriented
• Excellent public relations skills and ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds
